Since its creation, Torus AI has achieved a number of milestones in its development, reinforcing its role as a key player in artificial intelligence.
Torus AI was founded in 2019 in Toulouse, France, by Professor Emeritus of Mathematics Nguyen Tien Zung, along with other scientists and artificial intelligence enthusiasts. Torus is a mathematical concept that embodies regularity, stability and high internal energy.
2019 : lancement du projet de R&D « 1K Skin AI », récompensé par un prix international pour la détection du cancer de la peau.
2021 : cofondation de BelleTorus Corp. aux États-Unis pour des solutions Skin AI, avec une levée de fonds de 20 millions de dollars.
2024 : plusieurs millions de dollars de revenus annuels pour BelleTorus.
Clients et partenaires incluent l’OMS, le NIH, Janssen, Unilever, UCB, Pierre Fabre, Corius, des agences gouvernementales, … Plus de 15 brevets déposés et une dizaine ont été délivrés.
2022 : Création de l’équipe spécialisée en traitement du signal, développant les Filtres Neuronaux Adaptatifs Torus (nouvelle technologie brevetée pour un géopositionnement robuste et précis, ainsi que d’autres applications).
2024 : Contrats avec le CNES et BPI France2030 (navigation sécurisée des robots agricoles), partenariats avec des entreprises du secteur aérospatial et des drones, le LAAS, l’INRAE, …
2022 : Création d’une équipe spécialisée en IA générative (plateforme d’IA agentique, nouvelles méthodes d’IA générative, génération d’images et de textes, chatbot…)
